It all started in August 1972, when Theodoros Simantirakis, a qualified surveying engineer, having fulfilled his military expenses, started his journey in the construction sector. In the first years of his professional life, he collaborated with renowned companies in the field (TERGA SA and Proodeftii SA). His work, expanded in construction projects throughout the Greek territory.

In 1980 he founded his own company based in Chania, Crete, working mainly with projects in the public sector. During his career, he undertook the construction and improvement of roads, bridges, ports and multiple water and irrigation projects. Constructions that stand the test of time and are still in use, even today.

At the end of his career, he was also an engineer appraiser of the Bank of Cyprus, and an engineer expert in a number of first instance court cases.

Continuing the family tradition, Apollon Simantirakis BSc MSc MSc, graduate civil engineer of the NTUA, has completed dozens of construction projects involving either domestic or professional spaces.
